Just a notice to remind people about theme weeks, previously we have offered creation of theme weeks as a prize for events. for the remainder of August I am allowing people to post here with Theme Ideas. (This can be anything from Roses to Butterflies to Someones birthday(must be a important number ie.16, 18, 21, 40 etc) or important event).

Our moderators will sort through the suggestions and allocate them dates (if they arent specific to a date). We do ask however you check the calendar in the above main menu to ensure your dates are not already taken. Also planning into 2013 is acceptable!

Loving the ideas guys! If you want a theme week to run state the idea then give me the dates (weeks usually start on a sunday)

One of the plans from the OTM's was to make the themes into theme weeks in the future..

Only trouble I'm having is picking dates, anyone got any ideas for dates?

Didn't we already have Elements Week planned? Before the OTm of t was even made
I think the person got mad when someone made Elements OTM and backed out though

The original one was changed to another theme this one however I'm not sure if I added it before or after anything but would serve to cover for that sotm... and needs help setting up which I explained in modi chat as I'm leaving the day before :-(

I picked these dates at random and can move them most places, I have yet to fill in the calendar for standard weeks next year (like vday and etc) but any dates are open and most willing to put themes up

Btw what happened to weekly colors? o.o

Weekly colours stopped due to time management on my part going haywire and lack of interest in the set up of each. I am hpoping to reintroduce it again soon but want to get a few more themes in before they are all taken over but certain colours. So after this weekend I should have a final list (got engagement party on saturday) and then ill fill in the standard themes, do a last call for theme weeks and start opening up help threads for up and coming weeks

(there is a pirate week coming in september aargh!)

Btw, I will be on my computer max once every 2 weeks from September to June, excluding longer holidays. Idk if I'll be able to help with Artifex at all during that period...

Another idea I had was just having a day for a few of themes.. or even a month if people thought the theme deserved more time. I am also looking for people willing to put in some time to help with themes.

Still looking for more ideas... Any thoughts on a Lego Week? or TV SciFi war (ie Star Trek vs Stargate vs Doctor Who vs Battlestar Galatica etc)
