Games you play: Skyrim and Sims 3! Stopped playing Shaiya at the beginning 2012.
Active forums: Does deviantART (veryangryfairy) count? If not, only Shaiya (fairyz).
How did you become interested in making signatures? From seeing all the amazing and inspiring signatures on the Shaiya forums.
Why do you like to make signatures?
Because it has the same effect on me as reading/writing/gaming do: it
takes me to a place in my mind where I don't have to think about dull or
unpleasant everyday stuff. It makes me happy and relaxed.
Which program do you use? Photoshop CS6.
Why do you like it? I used to use GIMP, which was alright. But I started feeling limited. So when I got the chance, I got my hands on PS, and it's much nice and much more complex.
How long have you been making signatures? On and off since March 2012.
What are five suggestions you would give to any other artist?
1: Does it make you happy? Don't stop doing it.
2: It's good to have your own style, but it never hurts to keep exploring and try something new.
3: Remember that your art is about expressing who you are.
4: Try pushing your limits.
5: When it comes to your creativity: never grow up! You imagination is your greatest weapon. Keep it sharp.
How about five suggestions for a new artist?
1: There's nothing wrong with imitating, as long as it is for the sake of practicing.
2: Share, share, share.
3: Always be open for constructive critisism, but never let it bring you down or shackle you.
4: Learning to work with deadlines can be good, but don't try to force it if you don't feel it.
5: Aim for your own style.
Do you offer tutorials or give lessons?
I'm no pro, but I am always willing to help in any way I can.
Obsessions: Books, colours, butterflies, fairies, dragons, shoes, clothes, jewellery, and nail polish.
Random facts: I'm 24. I live with my boyfriend with whom I've been together since September 3, 2011. We have a million mice.
