- How did you become interested in making signatures?
I started making them for myself, and a friend asked me to make one for her. I really enjoyed the challenge so started making more!
- Why do you like to make Signatures?
I find it quite relaxing to do when I have some spare time, it is nice to be able to be creative and inventive and to see the results at the end!
- What programs(s) do you use?
I use Photoshop CS5
- Why do you like it?
I've only ever used Photoshop so I am familiar with its tools. There is also always a large number of tutorials online to help you learn more about the programme.
- How long have you been making signatures?
I've made them for myself for a long time but I've only been making for others for a few months!!
- What are five suggestions you would give to any signature artist?
1. Keep doing what your doing!!
2. Always be kind to new artists, everyone is new at some point!
3. Share your love of what you do, getting someone else passionate about art is a great way to give back to the community!
4. Never stop learning, there will always be new skills to learn so keep developing.
5. Remember why you started in the first place! Never let a bad experience knock you back, there will always be someone who does not like you work or who wishes to criticise. learn to see beyond it and don't give up!
- How about five suggestions for a new artist?
1. Google is your friend!! If you are ever stuck on how to make something work,chances are you can find a tutorial to help, hunt around and learn some new skills!
2. Always be on the look out for inspiration, magazines, adverts, all sorts can give you great new ideas.
3. Never EVER steal someone else's work or copycat, its good to learn from other but you won't learn from cheating!
4. Experiment and don't be afraid to get it wrong! Im new to this and make many mistakes but it is part of the growing process!!
5. Enjoy what you do!
- Do you offer tutorials or give lessons?
I don't feel I have learnt enough yet to be able to teach but perhaps one day!

My studio is quite bare as Im happy as long as I have my laptop and a cup of tea!! And my dog had to be in there, I have a 14 week old newfoundland called Moses
